Dumfries & Galloway Regional Third Sector Forum has been established to enable voluntary organisations
to work together to:
- address policy issues and respond as a collective voice;
- build on existing partnerships with external agencies;
- contribute more effectively
to Community Planning;
- demonstrate the value of the work of voluntary organisations to regional
services and the regional economy;
- reduce the isolation which may be experienced by individual
voluntary organisations.
Who
can be involved?
Membership is open to all national and regional voluntary organisations providing
services across Dumfries and Galloway.
When and where does it meet?
The Forum meets quarterly. Meetings are mainly held in Dumfries with occasional meetings in other regional centres.
How does it operate?
The Forum will work within
the aims and aspirations of the Dumfries and Galloway Compact, which is a partnership agreement between voluntary, community
and public sector bodies. 3SF Members have agreed to work within a Partnership Protocol.
How can we get more information and/or join?
Complete the 3SF Questionnaire and send to Joyce
Harkness, Executive Officer, or contact Joyce for more details.
