	The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is to recognise outstanding voluntary activities by groups in the community.  A  group/organisation of two or more people can be nominated for an award if it has been working in the UK for a minimum of three years and has a majority of volunteers as its members. Groups solely concerned with fundraising for charitable purposes are not eligible.
